ADDICTION CREW To Enter Studio This Month

June 12, 2007

Italy's ADDICTION CREW will enter Fear Studios on June 18 to begin recording its new album, titled "Lethal". Guitarist/producer Alex Guadagnoli will work alongside Fear's resident producer Gabriele Ravaglia (EPHEL DUATH, GORY BLISTER) on the CD, which will contain 12-14 songs out of a possible 20 that the band composed over the course of the last year. Non-album versions of two tracks that will appear on the forthcoming CD — "Along The Way" and "Ride On Liars" — can be heard on the band's MySpace page.

In January 2007 ADDICTION CREW parted ways with Earache Records which released the group's 2005 album "Break In Life". The CD included the Italian hit single single "What About".

"Lethal" is scheduled for release late 2007 through an as-yet-undetermined label. The CD will be issued in Japan via RB Records, which is licensing the record as the label's top priority.

In other news, ADDICTION CREW drummer Luca Canali's side-project IDOLS ARE DEAD will appear at the Heineken Jammin' Festival in Venezia, Italy on June 14 alongside such bands as IRON MAIDEN, SLAYER, STONE SOUR and MASTODON.
